All is well, all is right! It feels like scarcely any time has passed since I was last here.

[ He coos it to him. He can still manage to make it sound like a loving chirp even without his dragon features. ]

[chirps back at him, splashing through the water to take his hands and turn him around, pointing up at the sky. at THE MOON]

I am. I am in a safe, comfortable, dark place. I am curled up in my own coils, and I have my tail over my snout... If I listen, I can hear my father and my brother singing. Sometimes one of my sisters calls too.

And we can’t visit you in there?

[ EXPECTANT LOOK. ]

I would say, "how else", with my limited knowledge of how to get inside of a dragon's egg.

We can fight later and talk later. I will have a lot of explaining to do, and I should like to let our first night here together be a peaceful one. Heavier things can wait 'til morning.

[steps out of the water, tugging Estinien towards the grove of palm trees]

[how're they ever going to get into the palace if moon has to keep leaning over to nuzzle and kiss estinien? he's too weak to that look]

[ He does not give that Look to many people, so Moon being weak to it is especially treasurable. ]

... I had not thought about much beyond our time in the prison, to think that we were able to leave together.

[ Estinien can attempt sentimentality. But he's not very good at it. ]

[flicks his tail, looking for another tail to twine with, then curls it close behind estinien's legs instead]
