[it's a great view, the ocean is mirror calm tonight (actually every night and every day when moon is around) and the palace behind them glows like a pearl in the moonlight, but!

[wraps his arms around randy and sighs]

Reverie was the furthest I have ever been away from myself.

Does it feel better? I dunno how I'd like being so far from me, personally.

[rumbles deeply and closes his eyes as if basking]

It feels much better. I can feel my body. I can feel my brother's gravity and my father's warmth. I could still feel them before, but it was so much muted.

[turning to snuggle in better.]

...Welcome home, Moon.

[curls around him and nuzzles the top of his head]

I'm home.

My sweet, fancy baby dragon.

[mimicks a peep and twists to kiss his chin]

[ducks down to give him a peck. cheep!]

[sticks his nose in randy's hair —to bite one of his wolf ears, but. he's not used to them being gone yet!]

Yep! I can't even wag anymore, and I get t'see your egg. The cuteness is even more you than before.

I will not say if that logic is right or wrong, but that is logic there! I will miss your tail. I liked to hear it thump.

Can't say I ain't gonna miss it in some ways. But I'm back to being a normal guy.

It is not far.

[Moon kisses him again as if to apologize for not lingering the entire night on the balcony. but it’s only a little further along the terrace before they come to another row of wide-open windows. why use a hallway and doors? all of moon’s private quarters share this balcony.]
