[chu. stepping in close and wrapping arms around Moon's middle.
He has a hunch, but at the same time... that feels like asking too much. Like too much hope. Sure they'd mentioned it, pretty directly, even, but... That was with Moon's Shadow, before Randy got swept away for even more sleep, before everyone's powers returned and Randy was obviously Just A Human in stark comparison to it all.
(He fights incredibly, strategizes even better. He wasn't lined up for the name of War God for nothing, but he hates himself far too much to see anything but his own lack. Even so, he brought his best to the battle.)]
[And all the more admirable in Moon's eyes for it. He only had to be more monstrous than the monsters (neverminding the practice his powers demand or his own battlefield experience,) but Randy fought with him. He had grace and skill, and he kept up.
he cups randy's face and strokes over his hair where the ears used to be.]
I am too eager for that. Will you come home with me?
[He's got his misgivings, of course. He'll miss Crossbell, miss his found family. But giving Moon what time he's got... that seems worth it. He's not irreplaceable, even back home.]
[They can plan visits— Moon wouldn't stop him from going. He's promised a few worldhops of his own, after all. But that's all logistics they can figure out later, along with all the delightful domesticity of settling a partner into his home.
For now though, he's sweeping Randy up in his arms and SPINNING]
[he only has to grab a few things from Cerberus, including his carnivorous bush Sharky, but he's got enough arms to gather his packages and still keep a hand free for holding Randy's. and to slip a small pouch into Randy's hand.]
[it's one of the large moonstone beads from the necklace of office that Moon sometimes wears. those are polished smooth, but he's used his claws to carve this one to look like a curled up dragon. there's eight tiny gemstone chips for its eyes and it's strung on a silk cord stolen out of one of Moon's robes.]
There was a holiday party and some of the ones celebrated had the tradition of giving gifts.
